Who are we?

We are the newest working group of the Student Council (StuRa) of Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg. Founded in 2019, we have set ourselves the goal of strengthening the participation of international students in student life and in university political processes and thus increasing their voice, presence and representation. We want to develop concepts that make university life and everyday life in Halle easier for international students, but also critically accompany the internationalisation processes at the university.

What do we do?

We organise events with an international context and develop information and support services for international students. For example, here on our website you will find our joint housing exchange platform with the International Office of the University, an overview page with useful information and tips about studying and living in Halle, which is constantly being updated and an info page on university politics.

We are looking for you!

If you are also interested in joining us, you are of course free to set your own (new) priorities for the work of the working group, depending on what is important to you. We are looking for committed and motivated new members who are interested in actively shaping the work of the working group. International students in particular, but also people with an international interest are welcome.

Send us an e-mail or contact us via Instagram or Facebook. We look forward to meeting you!
